Paris is the capital of France and the country's largest city. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the "Paris Region" The City of Paris.

Paris is today one of the world's leading business and cultural centers, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities. According to 2005 estimates, the Paris urban area is Europe's biggest city economy, and is fifth in the world's GDP.

Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with over 30 million foreign visitors per year. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks. There are three most famous landmarks in Paris. That is Notre Dame de Paris, Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. And Eiffel Tower is symbol of Paris. Also, there are many museums, opera houses and theatres.

About Temperature

Paris has an oceanic climate and is affected by the North Atlantic Current, so the city rarely sees extremely high or low temperatures. Paris has warm summers with average high temperatures of 25℃ and lows of 15 ℃. Winters are chilly, but rarely below freezing point with temperatures around 3 ℃ and - 8 ℃.

About Sports

Football, basketball, and rugby are popular sports in France. Paris' most popular sport clubs are the football club Paris Saint-Germain FC, the basketball team Paris Basket Racing, and the rugby union club Stade Francais.

I thought Paris's a row of houses along the street is picture as is. It is very beautiful.
