Athletic Festival
Tomorrow, Oct. 25 th is the athletic festival in KGU. Fortunately, it will be sunny day tomorrow. Many club's members will take part in this festival. My club members will join about 30 people. I will run 100m and relay race. I like to run, so I'm looking forward to entering the games. Sadly, I often cough still now. I went to a hospital, and see the doctor of the department of internal medicine. After the examination, he didn't know what is cause. I'm in trouble about my cough. If I run the relay.... and after that, I may suffer from coughing.(106words)

The little Giraffe
I read " The Little Giraffe". This book explained why the giraffe is tall. The giraffe was little at first. He lived East Africa. He always looked for food, but the sun was very hot and it was very dry, he couldn't find food anywhere. So, he asked wise man to help him. The wise man make the magic drink for the giraffe. The giraffe drank the drink, he became taller in this book. So he can come to eat the leaves high in the trees.

Princess Polly and the Pony
I read " princess Polly and the Pony"
Polly is a princess but she likes gallop and she's got mud on her at the first. Her parents, the king and the queen were very angry when they saw her. And they prohibited her from galloping ever. They thought they wanted her to behave as a princess. But Polly didn't want to do that. One day, Polly saw a poster about pony games and this game was held by the King and Queen. She have come up with good idea, it is that she dress up as someone and enter the game.On the day of race, she put on her costume like men, she ran the race. Fortunately, she came the 1st. As a result, she came out identity. Her parents were suprised and they were going to scold her. But the crowd cheer her, Polly was given a wish. The wish was one day each week, she would like not to be a princess. The wish was accepted by her parents, she enjoyed galloping one day each week.
I like this book's story. It is difficult a princess to say her opinion in the past. But polly did what she want to do. I respect her, and she is cool, I think. (211words)

Today
I got up early today to do my writing homework. I got up am 4:30!
I was very sleepy and I was half asleep, but I took up the slack myself.
I turned on my computer, I did the writing assignment. After I finished doing my homework, I felt very good.
I have no class next period, so I'll go to the library to watch a DVD with my friend. We don't decide what we watch. I just can't wait to go to the library.
After that, I have a club meeting. We'll talk about school festival is coming soon.
I have 3 and 4 period class. Both are compulsory subject. I will do my best to take them. After school, I have a part-time job today.

Lesson 3
Tokyo Disney Land (TDL)TDL was opened on April 15, 1983, so this year is the 25th anniversary. TDL has a theme. It is "The Kingdom of Dreams and Magic". Cinderella castle is the icon of TDL.
There are seven themed areas in the TDL. These areas each have a unique style. They are the World Bazaar, the four classic Disney lands: Adventure land,Western land, Fantasy land and Tomorrow land, and two mini lands: Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown.
As you know, there are many characters in TDL. Of all others, Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto are the main characters (They are called the "Big 5"). The Big 5 always appear on shows and parades.
TDL comes to celebration, the 25th Anniversary of its grand opening in April 2008. There are special shows, parades, and entertainment and they are expected to continue into next year. (139 words)

The Emperor's New Clothes
I read " The Emperor's Clothes".This Emperor is selfishness and showoff, I think. He loved clothes and he really cares his clothes, but he really didn't care about anything else. He continued to ignored things he isn't interested in, so he has knowledge about clothes, but he didn't know anything else. He is what is called a babe.
So that, he was cheated by two men pretended to be a great clothes- maker. Frankly speaking, he was fool. He believed he is wearing the most successful clothes ever, but actually, he didn't got no clothes on! Surely, He was very shame, when he knew the turth.I was afraid of a babe. I thought I want to learn many things, I don't come to be a babe.(126words)

I read "the Enormous Turnip" this time. I have learned this book as class of national language when I was a elementary school student. This story about certain farmer and his family and enormous turnip. One day, the farmer wanted a turnip and went to his field, there was a huge turnip in the his field. He thought he pick it by oneself. He tugged many times, but the turnip didn't move. His wife, his son, farmer's dog, a cat, and a bird helped him. Finally, the turnip moved and popped out of the ground. Unfortunately, the turnip was too huge, so they come to eat turnip soup every meals for a month. I like punch line in story. ★My Research about New Zealand★
1. Introduction
Most people drive cars in the world. There are many roads, road signs and rules in the world. On one hand there are similar ones to Japanese roads and road signs, and on the other hand, there are different ones from Japanese roads and road signs. They drive on the right side of roads in most countries, but they drive on the left side of roads in Japan. Like this there will be many similar points and different points in comparison with New Zealand.
I will research my paper by using internet, and go to the library to collect materials. I will use textbook of driver license. Also, I will do research in New Zealand. I can watch road signs or roads actually while I stay in New Zealand.
My paper is organized as follows. First, I will introduce Kumamoto roads, and second, I will introduce New Zealand roads. I will compare these differences, including good points and bad point. I will introduce my paper by using some illustrations.
2. In Kumamoto(Japan)
Comparing Japan and foreign countries, the roads of Kumamoto are generally well-appointed. Japanese roads are not so rough, and almost all the roads are flat. There are not many steep hills in Kumamoto.
There are many Braille blocks on the sidewalk for physically disabled people in Japan. The Braille blocks are two types-- line blocks and dot blocks. The line blocks show direction of movement, and the dot blocks show places where people have to pay attention.
There are three main highways in Kumamoto. They are national highway 3 (Kumamoto north bypass), national highway 57 (Kumamoto east bypass) , and national highway 342 (Kumamoto west belt highway).
They drive on the left in Japan, and Japanese cars are right hand driver cars. There are also many imported cars recently. A few of them are left hand driver cars, but most imported cars in Japan are right handed cars like Japanese ones.
Japanese national expressways run from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Speed limits are normally 100 km/h, and most expressways are 4 lanes. The expressway in Kumamoto has 4 lanes too.
When we use national expressways, we must pay some tolls. Tolls on national expressways are based on distance traveled. When a person enters the expressway, they take a ticket, which can be inserted along with the fare into a machine. When they exit the expressway, they must pay tolls. Many rest facilities such as Service Areas can be found along national expressways.
Also there are urban expressways in Japan. They are like national expressways. They are found in many of Japan's largest urban areas. There is no urban expressway in Kumamoto, but there is one in Fukuoka prefecture, next to Kumamoto.

A motorway is a road for cars, and only walkers and bicycles are prohibited from using this road. When we use highways in Japan, we must pay a toll, but we don’t have to pay a toll in New Zealand. There is a big motorway around big cities, such as Auckland and Wellington. One motorway runs around the whole town in Auckland. A right turning car encounters a left turning car in Japan, the left turning car has priority. The right turning car has priority in New Zealand.There are two cars in the picture above. The red car will turn right, and the blue car will turn left. The red car has priority in this case, so the blue car must stop until the red one turns right.
There are signals in the suburbs of New Zealand, but there are many intersections which have no signals in the city. Instead, there is a round intersection (it is called a “Roundabout”.) You merge from left turn, and you turn onto the road you want to go by driving in a spiral. Also, the cars coming from the right have priority.

There is a raised traffic island in the middle of some crossings in New Zealand, but not in Japan. It is very convenient for pedestrians. If you’re driving and see pedestrians, you had better stop and give way to pedestrians on your half of the road, wait until the pedestrian have crossed in front of you and are clear of your vehicle before you proceed. A raised island was near my house, so I often used it when I went to Unitec.

4. Conclusion
New Zealand’s roads are comparatively similar to Japanese roads, and the road signs are also similar. But there are many differences between New Zealand and Japan. Have we summarize some of the same points and different points.
Same points
They drive on the left in New Zealand the same as in Japan. There are Braille blocks on the road for physically disabled persons in both countries. Also, there are buttons for pedestrians at pedestrian crossings in both countries.
Different points
There is no concept of expressway in New Zealand. Also, when a right turning car encounters a left turning car in Japan, a left turning car has priority, but a right turning car has priority in New Zealand. There is no intersection like a roundabout in Japan. Finally, there is no raised traffic island in the middle of the crossing in Japan. This island should be introduced in Japan, because there is no road sign of give way in Japan. (1334words)

I don't stop to cough from two month.
I often drink a medicine for a cough, but cough don't stop.
This Monday, I went to hospital to check with the doctor. I have thought the examination finish soon. But it took longer than I thought. I was taken a blood sample and was X-rayed.After that, I was explained what it is cause, but even the doctor, cause didn't see. I received a medicine for asthma, I often use the medicine, but I can't get rid of cough until now. I hope I get well soon.(97words)
