Short Essay -Writing IV-

-China-
Olympic Game was held in China, 2008. I watched these game and I was impressed with Olympic Game's opening ceremony. After that, I have been interested in China. Japan where I live and China is close to see geographic and cultural features and both country have had exchange long time. I want to know China afresh.

China is the largest country in East Asia and it was built by Chinese Communist Party in 1949 and China is socialism country. China has over 1.3 billion people(the number is the biggest in the world), capital is Beijing(Olympic Game was held there).

There are many nation in China. It is the most different things with Japan. Japan is homogeneous nation, but China has many nations. Han Chinese is the biggest nation. Similarly, there are many dialect in China.

Japan and China have many problems among both countries. It was occurred historically or politically. There are problems haven't solved yet, we should do something to solve problems of both countries.

This time, I could know China a little, and I knew there are many problems among both countries. I want to know China more and I have never been to China, so I want to go there in the near future.

Mixi

Mixi is one of several SNS sites in Japan, and it has over ten million users. It is like a blog, we can write diary, paste some photes and also we can read diary other people wrote. A lot of my friends do mixi, especially, club members are the most numbers in my mixi. I have registered as "i-pi"(it origin is my nickname), and I have over one hundred my mixis. I often use mixi, when I have free time or I look in mixi as resorce. Mixi is very interesting because I can know my friends though I don't change e-mail. I really enjoy mixi! If you know me and you do mixi, apply as my mixi without reserve. (131 words)

Hair Style

After coming of the age day, some of my friends cut their hair to short hair. My hair have always been short hair. I worry how dose my hair, I'm thinking whether I wear my hair long or not. I like bob hair style and like a hair like a picture. I have the length of hair like a picture now. And I have dyed dark color for a adult ceremony, so I want to change hair color to light color. Because we must job hunting this autumn , this time is last chance to dye hair light color. Um....How I should do?(105 words)

After The Party.....★

After Sanae & King's farewell party, we moved to TUTAYA to take Print club pictures(Purikura).
There were 13 people, so it was too narrow, to come out everyone. After we took Purikura, I noticed that 3 person lacked in the picture. But I enjoyed taking Purikura with strange member. The memberes joined the party will not gather from now on. Because those member don't be together in University. Our class separates 1 kumi and 2 kumi, but in the party , class didn't relate! I thought we was bound by new ties of friendship after the day. I felt happy , I could take part in the party.(108 words)

Sanae & King's Farewell Party

18th. January, 2009, the day, a farewell party was held. Because Sanae and King will go to New Zealand to study abroad for about 10 months. They will depart tomorrow(29th. January) morning. I feel very sad. I like them very much!

The party was held in Cheap Sweer bar, half & half. I have never been the shop, there were many cheap candies which give me the good old days, it was very interesting to us. We could eat cheap candies as much as we like for base prise plus ￥300 yen at the shop. We enjoyed talking and eating cheap candies.

I'm very sad, you will go to New Zealand tomorrow. But I believe you that you can enjoy New Zealand' life and skill up English. I cheer you from Japan. I'm wating for the day you will go back. Take care of yourself! (148 words)

Stone of Heart

Look! I found a stone, it shaped heart. Perhaps, there is only me, I saw shape of stone as heart. I found the stone in Ariake. When I and my friend went to Rippuru Land in Ariake, Kumamoto, we walked on the rock. I walked with looking down because those rock were very ragged. Then, I could find the stone by accident! When I found the stone, I was happy without meaning and I had fun . I thought some good incident will happen to me surely.

★Mynsha★

We made a group in Eibei department last year. We call it "Mynsha", it name's origin was group member's first name's initial. M: Masumi, Misa, Misa, Marina and Mari, Y: Yoshie, N: Natsuki, S: Sayaka, H: Haruna, A: Ayaka, Ayaka, and Ayami. (Same name is many;)We are often together while lunch break and vacant time. Our group member are many, so we havet never gathered every members. We talk trivial stories and I really enjoy when I spend time with them. Mynsha is precious existence to me. I don't say that in front of them because I am ashamed to say. (101 words)

Parisian flea market

Do you know a flea market? It is a type of bazaar where secondhand goods are sold, and it hold every week. Especially, parisian flea market is popular in the world.
There are three flea market in Paris. A flea market of Clignancourt is the biggest, and there is northern edge of Paris. The flea market is very large. There are many types shops and various things. For example, there are high-class furniture or art which former nobleman used , archaic toys, books, and post cards, there lines every things. A flea market of Clignancourt held every Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I want to go there someday! (107 words)

Today is last class but.......

I had have influenza 2 days ago! I want to go to school, but I can't do that. 2 days ago, I had a fever of 38 degrees, but I went to go to school because now was a week before test, so I didn't want to be absent from school. After school, I went to go hospital to see the doctor. That day, I took the test whether I have flu or not. The result of the test, it didn't show as I have flu. So, I was only given some medicines except the medicine of flu. But the night, I had a fever of 38 degrees more, in spite of that I had medicines I brought from hospital. I had a question whether I really hadn't flu. The next day, I was absent from school although there were compulsory subject. And I went to same hospital again I went to there yesterday. And I took the test of flu... it showed I have flu! Oh, my got! I was shocked that very much, because there will be plans tomorrow and day after tomorrow I have been looking forward before winter vacation. I must absent these plans. I really was shocked and I felt depressed. That is why I am absent today. (214 words)

The Elves and the Shoemaker

I read "The Elves and the Shoemaker"in this time. The story was written by Grimm brothers. At first, I liked the book's face cover, there were two pretty elves, so I chose this book.
This story was about shoemaker and elves. An old shoemaker, each day he laid his leather, drew different shoe shapes, cut them out, and sewed them together. Then he stretched the shoe shapes over wooden foot, cut out more leather and sewed it on. Finally, he cut out thick soles, made holes in them with a huge needles and sewed the soles onto the shoes. He did his all work by himself.
The shoe he made was very popular, people loved to watching the shoemaker's work.
But one day, a cart was written "CHEAP SHOES" came the town. The seller sold his shoes at cheaper price than shoemaker's price. But the cheaper shoes were badly sewn, with poor leather. But people were delighted and bought the seller's shoes. Because of the seller, the shoemaker was miserable. He was running out of money, and he couldn't afford to make shoes. He possibly prepare to make one pair of shoes. The day, he was tired and went to bed early with laying them on his work table.
Nert morning, He was surprised and Unbelievable thing happened to him. There was a perfect pair of shoes on his work table. He thought it must be magic. Next day, and next day same thing happened. The shoes someone made were gorgeous and perfect. Those shoes sold like hot cakes. So, shoemaker gradually had plenty on money. While the seller who have sold shoes cheaper was not happy and costumers accused him of badly shoes.
One night, shoemaker wanted to know who made his shoes. He stayed awake and hid behind some coat in the workshop. Once in a while, two little elves rushed in, and quickly began to sew. And he listened that cheaper shoe's seller use other elves to make cheap shoes, and they wished the other elves had escaped. They had an idea, if we can put that wicked shoe seller out if business, the other elves will be free. After they made shoes, they disappeared somewhere. Then, their idea came true. The seller came out the town, and the other elves were released from him.
After that, the elves didn't appear in the workshop and they never sewed another shoe.
I liked the story. I thought the shoemaker was very lucky.It was good that the other elves were caught were released. Elves were very cute, and I want to make friends with them. (430 words)

The Burglar's breakfast

I read "The Burglar's breakfast". The main character is Alfie Briggs. He is a burglar, and he had stolen many things from until now. He often stole things at the night, so breakfast is his main meal of the day. There were five things he liked best. And he had never ran out of these things. It was cornflakes, eggs, sardines, waffles, and fruits.
One day, he came to be hungry and would eat breakfast. So, he would take cornflakes from shelf. But there wasn't a box of cornflakes. In stead of, there was trail of cornflakes, and it was leading out of the door. He noticed the cornflakes was stolen by someone. He started to chase the thief. The thief was a goat! He gave up cornflakes and went to home.
Other things he liked best were stolen like cornflakes. He was shocked about that, and he gave up, went to a cafe to eat breakfast. He thought he want a job, he didn't want to return burglar. He took newspaper on the table, and he found a page. It was a page recruitment of detective. He could think of some reason for he go well to be a detective. When he was stolen food he liked best, he could find the clue and trace the thief. After that, he became a detective who can catch thieves.
The story was end here. It was interesting story. He was a burglar, so he was a person who stole things from other people. But he was stolen foods he liked best. It was so funny. I thought he is fool but cute. And in spite of he was a burglar, he became a detective catch burglar. It was also funny thing. (290 words)
